Aretha Franklin performed at a concert last night just hours after she cancelled her scheduled appearance at Whitney Houston’s funeral.
The 69-year-old singer was due to perform at the service for her late goddaughter in Newark, New Jersey yesterday, but cancelled in the morning as she was having leg spasms.
She also released a statement saying: “My heart goes out to my dear friend Cissy, Dionne, Bobbi Kristina and the rest of the family. May God keep them all.”
However, just hours later, she hit the stage at Radio City Music Hall where she dedicated a portion of the show to Whitney.
