“It is a plea for the music to return to the roots of where it started. When I say that, I’m speaking of reggae music and it’s ability to strengthen the reggae community,” Gramps explained.

Morgan Heritage will hit the road in July, performing in Europe. After, they will begin working on their new album which is expected to be ready for 2013.

Morgan Heritage was formed in 1994. It comprises five children of reggae artiste Denroy Morgan, best known for the 1981 hit song, I’ll Do Anything for You.

Other band members are Peter ‘Peetah’ Morgan, Una Morgan, Nakhamyah ‘Lukes’ Morgan, and Memmalatel ‘Mr Mojo’ Morgan.

They have recorded a handful of successful albums and several hit songs including Don’t Haffi Dread and Down by The River.
