New York, New York:

USVI Native, Jahman, will release his fifth studio album Diamonds & Pearls on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Through a distribution deal with Zojak Worldwide, the 14 track album which includes collaborations with Sizzla Kalonji, Pressure and Kayla Bliss will be available through all digital outlets.

Ever striving to spread positive messages through his music, Jahman has put together a diverse collection of songs aimed at uplifting youths, celebrating women, embracing Rasta Livity, encouraging righteous living, and drawing attention to global issues. His sheer ability to take a contemporary approach to traditional principles and classic musical styling is what makes this artist stand out.

Jahman has been writing and performing for over a decade. He credits Steel Pulse, Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, and more recently, Mad Cobra, Sizzla Kalonji, Buju Banton and Notch (formerly of Born Jamericans) as his influences. He has represented the U.S. Virgin Islands at countless reggae concerts and festivals throughout the Caribbean and the United States. In recent years, he toured the East Coast for six weeks with Richie Spice, opened for Morgan Heritage at the Reichhold Center for the Arts in St. Thomas and performed at the star-studded Tempo Turns 2 event in St. Croix.

Since his musical career began, Jahman has released four studio albums Poverty Struggle, Reggae International, Life As An Artist and most recently Rasta Endure. Jahman is always reinventing his image and his sound, and continues to demonstrate his versatility. Coupling his robust involvement in reggae music with a higher meditation has kept Jahman grounded; helping him to overcome many challenges with a resilient spirit on and off the mic.
