AARON Silk honoured the memory of his brother Garnett Silk with a lively set at the Blue Essence Lounge in Kings Plaza, St Andrew, last Tuesday.

Featured artiste on the weekly live series at the car park of this shopping arcade, the singer devoted a special segment to his brother who died in December 1994.

Silk gave a spirited rendition of his Garnett’s timeless songs including Zion In A Vision, Mama Africa, Lion Heart, Behold, and Splashing Dashing, which had the open-air gathering grooving.

He also did some of his own songs such as Right Path, Bless I Go Jah, Loving Truly, Survival, and Late Entry.

According to Silk, he has several new songs to be released as a teaser for his album which is scheduled to be out in early 2013.
