ELJAI HITS NUMBER ONE WITH “FOR YOU!”

Belize born reggae singer Eljai has scored his third number one single. For You, produced by Jahmix Entertainment, has taken the top position on the New York Reggae chart. It recently peaked at number two on the South Florida Reggae chart.

Locally, For You topped the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae chart a few weeks ago. In a release to the media, the California based singer said the song had exceeded his expectations.

“I’m extremely humbled by the continued support of radio. My aim has always been to make a connection to fans of reggae music worldwide’, Eljai noted.

Eljai recently notched a distribution deal with VP Records sub label VPAL Music. The deal saw the release of projects from the singer’s Jah Mix Entertainment label.

Eljai’s previous chart topping singles include Don’t Leave, The Leaders and Blessed featuring Capleton. Last year he released the successful EP titled 24/7. The title track also reached number one on the charts. His most recent studio album I Know was released in 2010.
