THE STAFF AT KINGSTON’S CVM-TV IS REPORTEDLY ON EDGE, FOLLOWING NOTICE FROM ADVERTISER!

Workers at CVM Television are on edge because of reported uncertainty regarding their future with the entity.

It is reported that one of the media house’s main advertisers is set to end its relationship with CVM in December.

A source at CVM says the advertiser contributed more than half of the station’s revenues.

Management reportedly held a meeting with staff today where the news was announced, triggering questions by staff.

However, it is reported that the workers left the meeting with very few answers.

The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre‘s source at CVM says the company appeared to be struggling in the last six months in particular.

The source says cash flow issues recently left CVM unable to buy even fuel for its vehicles.
