Tomorrows Bad Seeds

YET another American band has entered the Billboard Reggae Chart. The latest is Tomorrows Bad Seeds, a five-member act from Hermosa Beach, California.

Their EP, V, was number four last week. Tomorrows Bad Seeds join other California bands like Rebelution and Grounation on the publication’s reggae list.

Formed in 2004, Tomorrows Bad Seeds comprises Moises Juarez (lead-vocals), Sean Chapman (vocals/guitar), Matthew McEwan (vocals/guitar), Patrick Salmon (drums), and Andre Davis (bass).

Like Rebelution and Grounation, the quintet has won a strong following through rigorous touring. The band is on the road an average 40 weeks a year.

Their last album, 2012’s The Great Escape, hit number 28 on the ITunes Alternative Charts.

Among their accomplishments is copping the Commercial Success Award at the 2010 Los Angeles Music Awards for having sold more than 150,000 downloads during that year.

In 2007, Tomorrows Bad Seeds signed with Urbantone Records which released their debut album Early Prayers.

Three years later, they followed-up with Sacred for Sale which was distributed by MRI, a subsidiary of Sony/RED.
