PASTOR DAVID KEANE OF KINGSTON’S CHURCH ON THE ROCK DIES AT 67!

Founding pastor of Family Church on the Rock, David Keane, died today at his St. Andrew home, a family member says. 

He was 67-year-old.

The family member told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that Keane died while surrounded by members of his family.

The pastor’s health started to decline after he suffered a stroke in 2002 under dramatic circumstances.

He collapsed while preaching during a segment of a New Year’s Eve 2002 gospel show at the Rock Garden Theatre, in St. Andrew.

The service was being carried live on national television.

Family Church on the Rock has congregations in Kingston, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.
