– The 3rd Annual Tropical Rum Fest will be held at the Meyer Amphitheater, located on the beautiful West Palm Beach waterfront park at 104 Datura Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 on February 7, 2015.

Rum, Rum and more Rum! … All Tropical Rum Fest guests will also be captivated with the excitement of all the great tasting rums that will be available from our local and international rum exhibitors. And with the alluring aroma of an exotic atmosphere of scents filling the air with some of the best authentic island cuisines offering their succulent jerk chicken, jerk pork, conch fritters & conch salad and many other dishes that truly reflect the taste and feel of the tropics.

Introducing: Gubba Rums are inspired by using a technique that dates back to the 1800’s. These artisanal, organic and naturally infused rums are made from pure cane and the finest fruits, spices and herbs the world has to offer.

Our guests will enjoy LIVE Bands featuring – “Reggae Ambassadors” Third World – Celebrating over 41 years, is one of the longest lived Reggae bands of all time, and one of Jamaica’s most consistently popular crossover acts among international audiences. Mixing in elements of R&B, funk, pop, and rock and, later on, dancehall and rap, Third World’s style has been described as “reggae-fusion” with 10 Grammy nominations and catalogue of charted hits spanning four decades.

DJ “King” Waggy Tee earned the title of “King” by winning South Florida’s Selector Clash 3 years in a row. Back in the days, how “King Waggy Tee” got his Respect for being the “Wickedest Selector” was due to his knowledge of music and the way he could keep a party going straight thru till the morning with his blends and ability to make that transition from Dancehall to Soca to House/Pop, Rap, Hip Hop, R&B & Slow Jams as smooth as possible.

Spred The Dub, Formed in 2007, has been keeping crowds dancing all over South Florida with their own brand of “Good Time Reggae” music – infusing elements of jazz, soul, funk and rocksteady with a foundation of dub, ska and roots reggae to create sonic landscapes and massive drum & bass riddems. Their sound is sure to get you in the groove!

DJ Lovanny “Gio” Lobo – For over 2 decades, GIO has been entertaining all over south Florida. DJ Gio has opened for artists like 2 Unlimited, Erotic Exotic, Johnny O, 2 Hyped Brothers & a Dog, Viola Wills and many more. Events at local venues include Original Fat Cat’s in Fort Lauderdale, PRL Eurocafe & Blue Bar in Hollywood, & Secret’s Bar in Miami. He has one of the largest ranges of electronic dance music in all of south Florida. He spins House, Trance, Electro, Trap, Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Breaks & Miami Bass.

Reggae producer/vocalist/songwriter, “Causion” first enjoyed recording success in 1988 with the single ‘African Girl’. It reached the top of the Caribbean charts and gained him a considerable following. Today this charismatic performer is still bursting with intense emotions. His deep social and conscious lyrics are filled with appealing messages that blends today’s Reggae, soul and pop music with a bit of yesteryear’s.
