CANADIAN-BASED CULTURE BROWN IS READY TO TELL HIS STORY!

 Culture Brown—-

HE may sound a lot like Buju Banton, but Canada-based deejay Culture Brown is making a name for himself in that country and parts of Europe.

In 1996, he had a minor hit single in Europe with Militancy alongside Beres Hammond, which opened doors for him in that region.

Recently, he dropped a new single Bruk Up to Mek Up for Akeel Records.

Born Evon Brown, Culture Brown began his career on the Black Star sound system in Kingston.

“I have been doing this professionally since the 1990s when I used to deejay on Black Star sound system alongside my musical teacher Brigadier Jerry and Tiger, and a number of other artistes. I have been representing for reggae in Canada since the late 1990s,” he said.

The journeyman artiste also performs regularly in Mexico, Ghana and Argentina.

He is scheduled to release his autobiography this year.
