INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC GETS A SHOT IN THE ARM WITH TWO RECENT RELEASES!

SonsOfMystro:ReggaeStringsInstrumental music has always been an integral part of the Jamaican musical landscape. Don Drummond, Tommy McCook, Roland Alphanso, Jackie Mittoo, Augustus Pablo, Im & Dave, Dave & Ansel Collins, Willie Lindo Dean Fraser, Rico Rodriquez and Lynn Taitt, to name a few,  have all made significant contributions to this art form. Sadly those days are gone, partly because instrumentalists are not as prominent as in the past. Sons of Mystro, and Latty Guzang are hoping to change that.

Producers of instrumental music are appealing to Program/Music Directors and Radio DJ’s to start playing more instrumentals in their shows. Here is somewhere they can start: The Sons of Mystro and Latty Guzang each have two great albums with classic old school rhythms like the classic Satta Massa Gana, Queen of the Minstrels, Red Rose for Gregory and Feel Like Jumping.
