LUCIANO SPREADING THE MESSAGE IN AFRICA!

 Luciano—-

THERE was a lot of controversy last October after singer Luciano cancelled shows in Africa due to the outbreak of the Ebola virus on the continent.

In late March and April, he travelled there for dates in Malawi, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ghana.

Despite the ruckus over the postponements, Luciano said the shows were well attended, especially in South Africa and Malawi, a country he visited for the first time.

“The people hold on to their roots, particularly in Cape Town, dem really conscious. The same in Malawi…they say its one of the poorest countries in Africa, but they rich in spirit,” he said.

All Nations, a group of African musicians, promoted the shows. They also provided the band More Fire that backed Luciano.

The Ebola epidemic affected mainly countries in west Africa including Senegal, Sierra Leone, The Democratic Republic of Congo and Liberia.
