MUSIC LEGEND WINSTON “MERRITONE” BLAKE DIES AT 75!

Jamaican music legend Winston ‘Merritone’ Blake has died.

Blake died this morning from health complications.

Blake was born on November 19, 1940.

Musicologist and University Lecturer, Dennis Howard says his passing will be a significant loss to the music, entertainment and sound system industries.

Howard notes that Blake was instrumental in the development of these industries in the 1970’s.
