FLORIDA-BASED ARTIST CLIMAXX, DROPS HIS SUMMER SONG “DANGER WINE!”

 Klimax—

FLORIDA-BASED recording artist Klimax said his latest single Danger Wine is destined to be one of the anthems for this summer.

“Summer is a time when most of the modern world takes a break and just party. We, Jamaicans, are known for our energy and flambouyant lifestyles so this song is only fitting. Danger Wine has a dance that accompanies it and the females and male listeners alike are going to love it. It brings back dancing of both sexes to the dancehalls,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

The self-produced single that was released in March will be featured on Klimax’s upcoming EP called The Clash. That set is slated to be released this summer.

Klimax said the EP will feature a mixture of three genres — dancehall, R&B and hip hop.

“This EP will represent my transition and migration from Jamaica to the United States. I have a passion for all three genres of music, so it was hard for me to choose one. I decided not to limit myself, therefore, I am representing for all three. I am determined to make my breakthrough in all three,” he said.

Klimax (whose given name is Kevaughn Charlton) spent his earlier years in the tough community of Dela Vega City in Spanish Town, St Catherine. In 2009, he migrated to Florida where he attended Miramar High School. He later attended Broward College in Fort Lauderdale where he began studing music business and theory.

After releasing his first single Take You There in 2010 he returned to to Kingston for a while to continue his musical journey.

He later released other singles such as Hold a Medz and Clean and Out.
