Dre Zee sparked as a producer, working with artists such as Mr Vegas, Future Fambo, Capleton, Mad Cobra and Lukie D. He steps in front of the microphone with the songs In My Head and Party A Gwaan.
Originally from Montego Bay, the singjay migrated to the United States when he was 12 years-old. Now in his mid-30s, he has recorded for producers Clifton ‘Specialist’ Dillon, Tony Kelly and Nathan Cowan.
“I’ve been a music lover from birth. I started purchasing albums by artists like Shabba Ranks, Cutty Ranks, Garnet Silk, Capleton, and many others. I eventually went into production and formed my own record label, SR Productions,” he explained.
Born Oakley Malcolm, Dre Zee’s best-known songs as an artist include Breathless, featuring Tommy Lee Sparta, It’s Really This, Prayer, and Blaze Up. He is currently working with J Vibe, a top producer out of South Florida. Their first production is the single Life Style.
