GEORGE NOOKS RELEASES HIS COVER OF THE R&B CLASSIC “DON’T BURN YOUR BRIDGES BEHIND YOU” AS HIS LATEST SINGLE!

 George Nooks—-

When George Nooks decided to record a song about the importance of gratitude, he covered the popular soul ballad, Don’t Burn Your Bridges Behind You.

Nooks’ self-produced version was released in August by his Total Records.

“In life you always have to look back and give thanks when you’re going up. Is a song I always love ‘cause the message is timeless,” he said.

Four weeks @ No.1

Originally recorded by American group, Ecstasy, Passion and Pain, Don’t Burn Your Bridges was released in 1974. It remains a staple on Jamaican radio and at ‘oldies’ dances.

Nooks, who first made local charts in the late 1970’s with Tribal War and Forty Leg Dread (as Prince Mohamed) released his second gospel album, Ride Out Your Storm, this year.
