Pepsi-Cola Jamaica partnered with dancehall artist and brand ambassador Busy Signal to host a private listening party for his latest album Fresh from Yaad at the Oak Wine Bar and Cocktail Lounge in St Andrew, on Thursday evening.

Guests swayed to the eight-tracked production, which fuses old-school dancehall, reggae and hip hop beats with the artiste’s riveting vocals.

“We share a special relationship with Busy Signal having worked with him on several of our campaigns, including Pepsi Bubbla and Pepsi Refresh Tour,” said Mitchell Watson, marketing manager, Pepsi-Cola Jamaica. “Pepsi is known for partnering with international leaders in the music industry, so this is yet another example of how Pepsi carries on that tradition locally by allowing us to play a major role in music moments in Jamaica.”

Busy Signal is the current face and voice of the Joy of Pepsi campaign, the beverage company’s most-recent execution converging music, dance and seven limited edition vintage labels, in one celebratory narrative. Manufactured at the Pepsi headquarters on Spanish Town Road, the classic labels — from 1945, 1950, 1959, 1967, 1971, 1978 and 1991 — serve as mementos for the vintage collection.
