Singer Stephanie is promoting her ballad Shades of Grey , which is taken from her sophomore album Catharsis . The song is produced by Collin “Bulby” York and is accompanied by a music video directed by Dameon Gayle.“ Shades of Grey is a very personal project for me. It’s about life after heartbreak, divorce or any kind of relationship falling apart. It’s a song about picking up the pieces and keeping faith in love alive,” Stephanie explained to Splash.
Though she is yet to get the breakthrough locally, the Linstead, St Catherine native is pleased with the progress that she has made in her career.
“I have been blessed with some great opportunities, but if I should choose one, it was when I signed as a songwriter to Rebel America Inc out of Texas and subsequently having several of my original songs placed in television shows from major cable networks. Namely, If This Is Real was placed in MTV’s Dance Moms Miami and ‘Together’ was placed on Lifetime TV’s MADE,” Stephanie shared.
Born Stephanie Wallace, the singer/songwriter/producer is CEO of her entertainment company Havatio Music.
She has worked with producers including Handel Tucker, Clive Hunt, Rory Baker, Sly and Robbie, Seanizzle, Walter “Tha Future” Russell, Seattle- based Loud City and Switzerland-based Phantom.
Stephanie has been doing music professionally for 12 years.
Stephanie recently wrote a book which is currently in post-production. She’s also preparing to embark on her first solo tour to promote the Catharsis album.
