According to CCU, about 9:00 p.m., lawmen were on operation in a community when they observed Nooks acting in a manner that arouse their suspicion. He was accosted and a bag he was carrying searched and just under 2 ounces of cocaine reportedly found.
George Nooks who was offered station bail in the sum of $80,000 maintains he is innocent and that he was setup. The gospel singer is currently promoting his latest release, “I Must Tell Jesus.”
