WOMAN IN ALKALINE’S “GUN-TOTING” VIDEO, APOLOGIZES TO THE JAMAICAN POLICE!

The mystery woman, who wore a police uniform in the music video for Alkaline’s ‘After All’, has come out to clear the air.

She is a dancehall artist, who goes by the moniker Quali Tee.

“I wasn’t disrespecting the police. It was just acting. Nothing offensive was intended,” she said.

“If I have [disrespected the police], my sincere apology. I was assigned to a role in a movie, and all I did was play the role. I really don’t see what’s the big deal about the movie anyways. A movie is just a movie.”

Quali Tee also dismissed speculations that she performed oral sex in the sex scene with Alkaline. She insisted that the sex wasn’t real.

“For those who think I was performing a sexual act in the movie. Seriously? What’s the purpose of a movie if it doesn’t look real even when it’s not. I think they’re making it way too realistic right now,” she told THE STAR.

Gun-toting antics

While the After All short film continues to create controversy and Commissioner of Police George Quallo has reportedly launched an investigation into gun-toting antics in the video, Quali Tee said her focus is now on her music.

“My focus is mostly on acting and my music career which I love dearly. My first acting scene was a short film, My Name Is Pam, which was produced by Amaziah The Great. It’s a very inspirational and motivational movie which speaks out against domestic violence. Even in that movie I have played the role of a prostitute, not to tell people that it’s OK to be in prostitution, but rather to change their lives,” said Quali Tee, who recently collaborated with Ganggoolie for Boom It Up.

Meanwhile, she is currently promoting a new song, Jiggle Up Suh, which she said has been doing well.
