REGGAE ARTIST PRESSURE BUSS PIPE WINS CARIBBEAN AMERICAN SHAKERS AND MOVERS AWARD!

Reggae artist Pressure Buss Pipe is the recipient of the Caribbean American Movers and Shakers Award for International Artist of the Year.

He received the accolade on Saturday, June 24.

Pressure beat nine other nominees for the award. They are Konshens, Rihanna, Machel Montano, Major Lazer, Bunji Garlin, Charly Black, R City, Nicky Jam, and Romeo Santos.

“This is my first major award, and I believe it will give the people of the Caribbean something to look forward to as far as being recognized for your accomplishments,” he said in a media release.

The Caribbean American Movers and Shakers Awards were held at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Centre in Decatur, Georgia, USA.

Pressure shared how he felt when he learnt of the nomination.

“I was, of course, very excited about the nomination as it is a great feeling to be recognised internationally. This is my first major award, and I hope that it will bring me more exposure internationally,” he said.

Pressure is currently promoting the single Grown Man Cry. It is the first single from an upcoming EP.

Last December, the US Virgin Islands native, whose given name is Delyno Brown, earned his second entry on the Billboard Reggae album chart when Red Rose peaked at number eight.

The 12-track set features songs including Time Is The Master, Once Again, Lost Without You, Woman Of The Nile, and Moments.
