NIGERIAN CHILD STAR EMANUELLA TO ARRIVE IN JAMAICA TODAY FOR SHORT COMEDY TOUR!

Nigerian child star, Emanuella Samuel, known fondly by her first name, will arrive in Jamaica on Saturday after a two-day flight from her home country.

Emanuella will be on the island for a short comedy tour hosted by Tango Entertainment Productions Limited.

The Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Comedy Tour also features beloved Jamaican comedians, Johnny Daley, Ity & Fancy Cat, with special performances from the likes of Marion Hall (Lady Saw).

The recently turned seven-year-old has more than two million followers on Facebook, with equal amounts of page likes and rising, and more than 300,000 followers on Instagram daily.

The young public figure will be travelling with her cousin, popular Nigerian comedian Mark Angel, and colleague Denilson Igwe, who also stars in a number of Angel’s productions.

His career started from posting funny videos on his official YouTube channel in 2013 and Emanuella quickly rose to popularity as soon as she was able to speak and participate in the social media productions.

‘My Real Face’ is the production that piloted her to fame. She continued to create video shorts shared on her various social media platforms with the help of the Mark Angel Comedy team.

Project manager for the comedy tour, Daniella McLean, said the show will begin in Kingston on Emancipation Day (August 1) and comprises of freestyle comedy that is focused around interaction with the audience.

“Emanuella also has a skit she plans to perform,” said McLean.

The show will then continue on August 5 in Savanna-la-Mar, moving through Montego Bay, May Pen and Ocho Rios from August 6 to 13.

“We also plan to show Emanuella and the Nigerian team of comedians our island by taking them rafting, to the various museums around the island during the days we have breaks,” said McLean. “However, we will allow her to rest and get acclimatized for a couple days after arrival, before she takes to the stage.”
