GRACE KENNEDY TO CLOSE TWO MORE WESTERN UNION OUTLETS IN ST. CATHERINE, DUE TO HIGH NUMBER OF FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS!

GraceKennedy is to close two more of its Western Union outlets in St. Catherine.

In a statement Wednesday morning, the company said there are still some locations where an unusually high number of suspected fraudulent transactions are being reported.

It said this is despite steps over the past several years to enhance its anti-fraud programs to better protect Western Union customers from scams.

GraceKennedy added that the closure is to further enhance its network oversight and the protection of its customers.

It noted that the affected locations will be reopened when additional anti-fraud measures have been implemented.
