The Stewarts said the men made Jamaicans proud and, in showing their appreciation, offered the two an opportunity to stay at one of their resorts in the island.

“We are really proud of what you have done and as a token of our appreciation we would like to offer you the opportunity to spend some time at one of our resorts in Jamaica,” said ‘Butch’ Stewart during a meeting with the men at his office in Kingston.

Adam, the ‎deputy chairman and CEO at Sandals Resorts International, in his address to the men, said the act which saw the men risking their lives to save another epitomizes what was truly good about Jamaica.

“We along with the rest of the country heard about your story and want to use this occasion to say we are proud of you,” Adam said.
