THE FUNERAL FOR THADIOUS JAMISON (FATHER OF SINGER THRILLER U) IS SET FOR OCTOBER 7!

The funeral for Thadious “Mr Teddy” Jamieson, father of reggae singer Thriller U, has been set for next week Saturday, October 7, at the Greendale United Church in Spanish Town, St. Catherine. Starting time is 11:00 am.

The singer confirmed the funeral details to the Jamaica Observer.

Jamieson’s body was found in a shallow grave along the Simon Main Road in Tredegar Park, St Catherine, a week after he went missing. The police was alerted to the scene by an anonymous caller who reported a foul odor coming from nearby bushes.

The 73-year-old was last seen alive on the afternoon of Saturday, September 2, leaving a hardware store in the Greendale area of Spanish Town. When he did not return home, the singer and family made an alarm. The family offered a reward of $500,000 for anyone who could offer information that would lead to Jamieson’s safe return.

Jamieson’s white Toyota Corolla motor car, licence plate number 1287 GV, is still missing.
