USAIN BOLT RECEIVES EMMY HONORS FOR HIS SHORT-FILM “THE BOY WHO LEARNED TO FLY!”

Retired sprinter, Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt, has been honored for his efforts in the film industry.

Usain officially received a certificate of honor from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, for being nominated in the Outstanding Special Class Animated Program category, for the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Usain received the nomination for his role as an Executive producer on his short animated film ‘The Boy Who Learned To Fly.’

The film released last year, commissioned by Sports drink brand Gatorade, is based on a true story of the life of Bolt and his Olympic journey.

Usain shared the good news with his followers on social media on Tuesday morning.
