FORMER BEAUTY QUEEN TRUDI FERGUSON, DIES AT 31!

Miss Universe Jamaica announced via a Facebook post that former queen Trudi Ferguson has died.

Ferguson, who won the Miss Jamaica Universe crown in 1996, lost her battle with breast cancer. She was 31.

The news of her passing came on the same day pageant organizers sent current title holder Davina Bennett off to Las Vegas, Nevada to represent the island in the Miss Universe contest.

Fans and well wishers have been offering support and prayers for the family and friends of the former beauty queen.
