YOUNG LADIES ARE RECRUITED FOR “THE SMACKDUNG OIL WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP!”

Imagine sexy women doused in baby oil wrestling in an inflatable pool, struggling to grip and subdue each other in a bootylicious attempt to earn the title of oil wrestling champion.

Promoters Cerica Cox and Tracy Gayle are starting The Smackdung Oil Wrestling Championship at Taboo nightclub in Montego Bay, St James, that is not limited to dancers or strippers.

“If a female believes she can handle the challenge and wrestle she will be allowed to enter, and there is no required dress; but the sexier, the better,” Gayle said.

With the state of emergency in St James, the nightclub has changed the opening hours to 7 p.m. and the event, Gayle says, “will start on time”. Persons have, in the past, been booked for oil wrestling at private events through Cox’s Platinum World Entertainment and Services. However, they have never had the opportunity to challenge for a title or prize.The championship starts on February 22, and will see competition in three segments. The girl who is left standing at the end of the night is declared winner.

DIFFERENT LEVEL

“The oil wrestling is not normally a championship, but we are trying it on a different level in a location that is all about sexiness. Though the state of emergency poses a challenge, many persons have been supportive,” Cox told THE WEEKEND STAR.

The bout does have rules and regulations, which includes no biting or head-butts, no poking in the eyes, no use of fists, and no squeezing of the throat. For females with long fingernails, it may pose a challenge as well, since the winner of the match will be selected based on who holds on until the referee counts.

Each opponent uses their strength to try hold down each other, when a strong hold has been established the referee counts to three. A winner is declared if the subdued persons fails to escape her grip.

“Oil wrestling is a sexy, slippery fun game for ladies. They get all oiled up and wrestle in an oily pool well cushioned for support, and the environment at Taboo is safe for guests,” Gayle said.
