With just a day to go, plans are being finalized by husbands, wives, boyfriends ,and girlfriends for Valentine’s Day. While some may plan to keep the vibe intimate and personal, there also lie the options to hit the town for live entertainment with your significant other.

For those looking to celebrate with a night on the town, here are a few activities where lovers can party together or singles can wait for the sting of Cupid’s bow.

Tonight, on the West End of the island, lovers rock crooner Beres Hammond will headline Love at Woodstock. The event will also feature performances by fellow legend Marcia Griffiths and Rising Stars alum Christopher Martin. Admission for Love at Woodstock is US$70 for general admission and US$200 for all-inclusive VIP treatment. Part proceeds of the profits will go to the Negril Medical Center.

Also tonight, The Aliv Premium Lounge in Portmore will host the Legacy: Rub a Dub style Pre-Valentine Party, Best of the ’80’s, ’90’s and 2000’s. It will be held at the TJ Building in Naggo Head, Portmore, at a cost of $1,000 for couples and $800 for singles.

In Kingston, on Valentine’s Day, international R&B singer Kelly Price will headline the second staging of the Red Roses for Gregory concert. The audience will have Big Ship Captain Freddie McGregor bringing his hits alongside R&B trio PaKaGe (Patricia Edwards, Karen Smith and Gem Myers). The 2017 Rising Stars winner Short Boss will also be performing.

This year, the Red Rose for Gregory concert will extend its charitable efforts. In addition to donations to be made to the Patricia House Rehabilitation Centre from proceeds of the event, patrons are asked to walk with the contributions for the Walker’s Place of Safety, which was recently gutted by fire.
