DANCEHALL ARTIST MUNGA HONORABLE RETURNS TO COURT ON MAY 29!

The in camera hearing involving Munga Honorable was called up in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in the Corporate Area yesterday.—

Munga Honorable is charged for the murder of Cleveland Smith, who was shot and killed on February 12, last year.

Christopher Townsend is representing the dancehall deejay.

“The matter was heard, but it was not about my client. It was about his co-accused, who was seeking a bail application. The next hearing is set for May 29,” Townsend told the Jamaica Observer.

According to police reports, Smith left his Moonlight Drive address in Queenborough, St Andrew, on bicycle to attend a session. It is alleged that he was accosted by a group of men, one of whom was armed with a gun. Smith was shot after an altercation between the men and himself. He was then rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
