VETERAN SINGER HUBERT LEE OF THE CLARENDONIANS FAME, WILL BE LAID TO REST ON MONDAY, APRIL 27, IN HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT!

Singer Hubert Lee, 75, who died on March 31, will be buried on Monday, April 27, in Hartford, CT. Viewing of his body will take place at 380 Maple Avenue in Hartford, from 11:30 am. For further information: 860-840-9474

In 1972, Hubert Lee had his first Top Ten hit with The Clarendonians “Night Owl” which peaked at No.3 on the Gleaner Hit Parade, and produced by Prince Tony Robinson. Later in the same year, his solo single “There Is Something On Your Mind” produced by Clive & Leonard for Randy’s Records, climbed to No.8 on the Hit Parade. In the following years, he had other hits with The Clarendonians “High School Dance” and “This Is My Story” also produced by Robinson. By 1974, Hubert Lee was recording for Bunny Lee (no relation) “What I Am Living For” “Crying Time” and Pen In Hand”
