DANCEHALL ARTIST FUTURE FAMBO WORKING ON HIS DEBUT ALBUM “EVOLVE!”

Fambo focusing on Evolve-ing— AFTER a three-year hiatus, dancehall artist Future Fambo said he is currently working on his debut album called Evolve. Produced by Atlanta-based recording label Blaze Entertainment, the 15-track set is expected to be released in April. The album will feature tracks including One More time, Wine for Me and The Blurtnaat Song. “Perfection takes time, so I have placed a lot of energy and time in it. It shows off a more mature side of me and features a lot of up-tempo music. I really hope that it will resonate well with the fans,” he told the Jamaica Observer. FRENCH REGGAE GROUP, TRYO, WROTE A SONG FOR CHARLIE HEBDO!

This hashtag has been trending worldwide, but what does it mean? “Je suis Charlie” is French for “I am Charlie.” Charlie Hebdo is a satirical French newspaper whose offices were recently attacked for publishing cartoons that were deemed offensive by extremist groups. Lives were lost, yet their deaths have not been in vain. Among all of the discussions being had due to this tragic affair, French reggae group Tryowrote a song in response to the attacks.   Singer Teddy Pendergrass – File— Thursday, March 18, 1982, was a sad day for soul music. The Rolls Royce driven by sensuous sex symbol singer Teddy Pendergrass skidded off a Pennsylvania highway. Pendergrass incurred spinal cord damage that left him paralysed from the neck down. Soul and R&B music suffered critical injury, along with Pendergrass. His only passenger miraculously escaped with minor injuries and later told her story on one of Oprah’s shows. The accident, which occurred at the height of Pendergrass’ career, dealt a severe blow to his life, which began on March 25, 1950, in Philadelphia, USA.
