By Livern Barrett– KINGSTON, Jamaica: Scores of persons were sent running for cover in Half-Way Tree square, in St Andrew this afternoon after a man, believed to be of unsound mind, reportedly grabbed a policeman’s gun and began firing wildly. When the shooting ended, three persons, including a woman clutching her infant child, were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Eyewitnesses say the shooter was challenged minutes later by a team of police personnel and shot several times. He has been rushed to hospital. Reggae fans across the United States can experience the Marley magic this summer as the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) has joined forces with Grammy Award winning reggae artist Ziggy Marley for his 2014 Fly Rasta North American Tour. I-OCTANE SPRAINS HIS ARM IN FALL DURING A PERFORMANCE IN BELGIUM!

Reggae artist I-Octane sprained his right arm in a horrible fall at the end of his set at Reggae Geel 2014 in Belgium late Friday. Octane shared a photo of him standing with the injured arm in a sling on Facebook, commenting that: “If it ain’t rough, it ain’t right.
