DANCEHALL VIDEOGRAPHER LAMAR DOUKIE, 23, DIES FROM INJURIES FROM A MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT!

 Lamar Doukie— VIDEOGRAPHER Lamar Doukie, a member of deejay Aidonia’s promotions team, died Monday from injuries sustained in an auto accident the previous day in Trelawny. According to Aidonia’s publicist, Raymond ‘Shadow’ Small, the artist and members of his entourage were travelling to Montego Bay for a football match when the incident occurred. “Aidonia was travelling in a separate vehicle and was about 20 minutes ahead of his team when the accident happened. He returned to the scene of the accident to assist and that’s where he got first-hand knowledge of what really took place,” Small told the Jamaica Observer. He said 23-year-old Doukie was with five passengers in a seven-seater Toyota Isis vehicle. One of its tires blew, causing it to overturn in a ditch along the Braco main road. … Read entire article »

DANCEHALL ARTIST AIDONIA RECOUPING AFTER FALLING ILL!

 Aidonia— Dancehall artist Aidonia is currently recuperating at home after falling ill at Digicel Paggee Fishermen Regatta held in Port Maria, St Mary, on Wednesday. According to the artist’s management team, the entertainer — who was billed as the headliner — was unable to perform and had to be taken to the hospital. “We sincerely regret the unfortunate situation as we are aware the fans came out in their droves to see a great performance.
