Anita Antoinette’s first single entitled “Care” to be released. Midilord, Inc. is pleased to announce Anita Antoinette’s first single to be released since her appearance on NBC 6’s hit show, The Voice. Anita Antoinette’s anticipated musical release titled “Care” will be released on June 15th 2016. “Care” was written and produced by Anita previous to her appearance on the Voice but was never released. After signing an agreement with Duane Summers for management, he heard “Care”, along with all the other recordings she had previously completed and decided that this should be her first release in the month of June, which happens to be Caribbean American Heritage Month. JAMAICAN-BORN ANITA ANTOINETTE MAKES IT TO THE LIVE ROUNDS OF NBC-TV’s THE VOICE!

   Anita Antoinette performing Rude by Canadian reggae fusion band Magic! on Monday night.— JAMAICA-BORN contestant Anita Antoinette made it to the live rounds of Season 7’s NBC talent competition, The Voice, on Monday night. Antoinette’s rendition of Rude by Canadian reggae fusion band Magic! totally impressed her coach Gwen Stefani, who chose her over stable mate Craig Wayne Boyd. Boyd performed a rendition of Can’t You See by the Marshall Tucker Band. “Wow! I was not expecting that,” said an elated Antoinette, after Stefani announced her as the victor. “I am so happy. I’m going to the live playoffs, baby! Yes!” she continued.   Reggae singer Anita Antoinette in performance on NBC talent competition The Voice on Monday.— ANOTHER Jamaican has made it through the blind auditions of the NBC reality TV talent show The Voice on Monday. Reggae singer Anita Antoinette had all four celebrity judges — Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, and Blake Shelton — blown away with her powerful rendition of Bob Marley’s Turn Your Lights Down Low. Antoinette — who was born in Kingston and migrated to Boston at eight — however, selected Gwen Stefani as coach.
