FORBES MAGAZINE LISTS BOB MARLEY AS THE FIFTH HIGHEST-EARNING DEAD CELEBRITY!

Bob Marley—- Income measured October 2013 to October 2014 Forbes Magazine has named Bob Marley as the fifth highest-earning dead celebrity, with US$20 million for the period October 2013 to October 2014.. Michael Jackson tops the list with US$140 million in earnings. In the period, his second posthumous album release, Xscape, debuted in second place on the charts. A hologram brought him to life of sorts at the Billboard Music Awards. Forbes compiled the list by talking to estate managers, agents, music publishers and other music insiders, to arrive at an estimate of the late celebrities’ earnings, without making allowances for taxes, management fees or other expenditure. NEW TRIAL DATE, DECEMBER 8, FOR BOB MARLEY’S GRANDSON ON GUN CHARGES!

Matthew Prendergast— KINGSTON, Jamaica – A December 8 trial date has been set for Matthew Prendergast, the grandson of reggae legend Bob Marley. The date was set after the court was told that some witness statements are still outstanding. The charges against Prendergast resulted from an altercation with a security guard at the Bob Marley Museum on Hope Road in St Andrew. He is alleged to have pointed a gun at the security guard on April 5. A firearm has not been recovered. Prendergast is currently on J$200,000 bail. Prendergast, 25, is a musician reportedly based between Miami and Jamaica. He is charged with illegal possession of a firearm and assault at common law.
