CALIFORNIA-BASED ROOTS SINGER BOBBY TENNA, HEADS TO GT TAYLOR’S CHRISTMAS DAY SHOW IN BLACK RIVER!

 Bobby Tenna Singer Bobby Tenna will again connect with Jamaican fans when he performs at the Boom GT Taylor Christmas Extravaganza at Luana Sports Club in St Elizabeth. The St James-born artiste has established himself on the northern California roots scene, but returns to Jamaica intermittently for shows. Bobby Tenna last performed in Jamaica in August at St Mary Mi Come From. He said working events like ‘Extravaganza’ on Christmas Day exposes his music here. “Musically, I feel I am making headway, gaining new fans locally an internationally, but especially at home in Jamaica,” he said.   The dreadlocked artist is pushing three songs: Jah Go Before Me, Love Songs, and Rainy Days. BOBBY TENNA COVERS BLACK EYED PEAS’ “WHERE IS THE LOVE” FOR NEW SINGLE!

 Bobby Tenna— TO hardcore roots fans Bobby Tenna has made his mark throughout northern California, a traditionally strong area for ‘foundation’ reggae. But for his latest recording, he hails pop group Black Eyed Peas by covering their 2003 hit song Where is The Love. “It’s just a song I really liked all along. I also felt it was still meaningful and relevant in these times when there is so much injustices happening worldwide especially in the poorer communities,” said 41-year-old Tenna in an interview with Splash. Tenna’s version of Where is The Love is self-produced for his WileFiya Inc label. It is the precursor to New Roots, his third album.
