The two-minute-and-eight-second video entitled Brad Pitt reads Marlon James was part of The New York Times Style Magazine’s package recently. “Dead people never stopped talking. Maybe because death is not death at all, just a detention after school. You know where you’re coming from and always returning from it. Karian Sang and Christopher Martin star in the Jamaican film ‘Destiny’. By Shereita Grizzle– It may come as a surprise to some as it was revealed that Destiny, a local film with a difference, came in No. 1 at box offices islandwide. According to numbers revealed to the show’s producer, Jeremy Whittaker, by Palace Amusement Cinemas, Destiny beat out international films Equalizer, starring Denzel Washington; Fury, starring Brad Pitt; and The Judge, starring Robert Downey Jr, for the top spot. Now in its third week of showing, the film has been holding its own on the silver screens and has held the No. 1 spot in its first two weeks of showing. Brad Pitt– By Shereita Grizzle— It may come as a disappointment to some and a relief to others, but rumors that American actor Brad Pitt is slated to play the role of legendary reggae singer Bob Marley in a new film are just that – rumors. Since photos of the American heart-throb wearing dreadlocks resurfaced over the weekend, many have been speculating whether the actor was perhaps gearing up for a new role. However, online reports reveal that the photos were taken over two years ago and are not a part of any promotional efforts for any new projects.
