ROOTS ARTIST BUGLE, RELEASES NEW ALBUM “BE YOURSELF!”

(Kenyon Hemans)— After leading the way to the control room of his recently completed St Andrew recording studio, singjay Bugle (real name Roy Thompson) settles into a seat and plays songs from Be Yourself, his new album. The 15-song set was released January 29 (his birthday) by Empire Records, the California label that distributed Strictly Roots, Morgan Heritage’s Grammy-winning album. Released three years after Anointed, his debut album, Be Yourself was recorded at the new studio. Professionally and personally, Bugle believes he has grown. “If yuh listen to dis album an’ Anointed yuh can hear di growth…di production level is totally different. Anointed was limited, it never have a world sound,” he said. SHAGGY JOINS BUGLE FOR VIDEO SHOOT OF SINGLE “GANJA!”

Currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album Reggae artist Bugle has enlisted the services of accomplished director Jay Will to shoot the video for ‘Ganja’ featuring Shaggy.  The single, is the first from his upcoming album titled ‘Be Yourself’, slated for release later this month (January 2017) . Shot throughout the thoroughfares of Jamaica with stops in Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Thomas, the concept though taking an unconventional approach is somewhat self explanatory as the entertainers advocate for marijuana, the story is further bolstered by the picturesque backgrounds of the Caribbean island known for its breathtaking scenery. ROOTS ARTIST BUGLE GOES “UNPLUGGED” AT MINGLES IN THE BRONX, NEW YORK!

 Bugle — BUGLE headlines tomorrow’s Unplugged show at Mingles Nightclub in The Bronx, New York. Promoted by Riddim Don Magazine, the acoustic series kicked off last month with singer Richie Spice. “Richie Spice did very well and the patrons showed him a lot of love. We decided to keep it on the conscious vibe this month, so we have Bugle performing with the Positive Vibration Band,” said Adrian “Donsome” Hanson of Riddim Don Magazine. BUGLE IS THE LIFE OF THE “RASTA PARTY!”

 By Kevin Jackson—  Bugle—  BUGLE is back in Jamaica after completing a series of shows in Europe and Japan. The artist, whose latest hit is Rasta Party, spoke about the Japan leg. “Japan was great. Very successful good turnout and great response from the fans,” he said. Bugle performed in Japan from November 27 to December 8. Dates included the cities of Hiroshima, Yokohama, Okinawa, Sendai, Aomori, Shizouka, Saitama, Osaka, Kobe, Kagawa, Nagoya, and Tokyo. BOUNTY KILLER URGES HIS FELLOW ARTISTS TO “MAKE BETTER MUSIC!”

BUGLE GEARS UP FOR HIS FOURTH PERFORMANCE AT REGGAE SUMFEST!

Still riding high from the release of his debut album Anointed a few months ago, dancehall/reggae artist and songwriter Bugle is set to deliver a creditable performance at this week’s staging of Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay. The deejay is billed to perform on Dancehall Night (Thursday July 17). He promised that fans are in for a musical treat. ‘The fans can expect a proper performance.
