“GETTING BACK A U.S. VISA FOR BUSY SIGNAL WAS NOT EASY” SAYS LAWYER ANDREW R. CRUMBIE!

Busy Signal—- The lawyer who helped Busy Signal to get a United States visa has described the process as tedious. “The legal process in this instance was not an easy one, but we relied on well-settled case law to bring this case to a successful conclusion,” said lawyer Andrew R. Crumbie. Crumbie represented Busy Signal during the process to regain his U.S. travel visa. Busy Signal, whose given name is Reanno Devon Gordon, landed in the United States last Friday on a newly issued non-immigrant travel visa. He was restricted from entering the U.S. for 15 years as a result of a federal criminal conviction. Busy Signal was arrested in 2012 at Norman Manley Airport in Kingston, Jamaica on an outstanding federal arrest warrant. BUSY SIGNAL GETS HIS U.S. VISA BACK, AND NOW IN NEW YORK!

By Daraine Luton  After being without a United States visa for some time, dancehall artist Busy Signal touched down in New York on Friday morning and he is expected to spend a few days there before returning to Jamaica. Carla Gullota,  Busy Signal’s booking agent for Europe, told THE STAR that the artiste will spend a short time in the United States before returning to Jamaica. She said that he will then jet off to Europe where he will perform at 17 shows between January 28 and February 21. “He is very popular in Europe. Recognised as the country’s premier reggae drummer, Bennett shows his skills as a musician and producer on Rumble In The Jungle, scheduled for release by VP Records on Friday. It is his second album. BUSY SIGNAL BECOMES THE FIRST BRAND AMBASSADOR ARTIST FOR GUINNESS!

 Dancehall deejay Busy Signal has been named brand ambassador for Irish brew Guinness, a first for any local artist. The announcement of the new partnership was made public at the Jamaica Beer Festival held in the Corporate Area, recently. “Busy has always embodied the essence of Jamaican grass roots culture. He is more than an artist; he has become an icon for the people,” Imru James, brand manager for Stouts and Malta at Red Stripe, told the Jamaica Observer. The dancehall act has had a long-standing relationship with Guinness, including performances at major events such as Arthur Guinness Day.  This is not the dancehall deejay’s first rodeo.
