By Davina Henry— Cameal Davis won the Rising Stars competition in 2008 and $1 million—- She crooned her way into many hearts with her rendition of Jennifer Hudson’s ‘Spotlight’ in 2008. Having won the Rising Stars competition and pocketed $1 million, eight years ago, Davis appeared to have been on her way to stardom. However, the light has seemingly gone dim on Cameal Davis’ career. The career of the bubbly 31-year-old mother of one is not where she would like to be. “I would agree that my shine did dim a little,” she told THE WEEKEND STAR.
