CAPLETON TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM BEFORE THE SUMMER!

 Capleton—- CAPLETON will release his first album since 2010’s Iternal Fire this year. The yet-titled set, largely produced by Clive Hunt, will be distributed by VP Records. The 48-year-old deejay told the Jamaica Observer that he continuously records new songs which keeps him current. With a number of hit songs going back to the late 1980’s, Capleton retains a consistent tour schedule. “Wi love fi give the album dem space, mek the people dem get fi know the song dem,” he said. “There is never a race fi put out an album.” Motive, a song produced by Hunt, is likely to make the new album. FABIAN MARLEY IS OFF TO EUROPE!

   Singer Fabian Marley— SINCE 2013, Fabian Marley has made headlines with claims that he is the first son of reggae icon Bob Marley. This has not gone down well with the Marley family who have refused to acknowledge his sensational pronouncements which have also overshadowed his fledgling music career. TYRONE TAYLOR’S “TOTALLY TYRONE” IS THE FIRST RELEASE FROM TUFF GONG’S “MASTER’S VAULT” SERIES!

ETANA BELIEVES SHE BROKE NEW GROUNDS WITH RECENT USA TOUR!

 Etana— ETANA believes she broke new ground in terms of fans on her recent tour of the United States. The singer performed in 11 states, starting April 25 in Brooklyn College in New York at The Grog Shop. She closed June 14 at the Livewire in Scottsdale, Arizona, alongside Hawaiian singer Anuhea. The three-week trek was in promotion of Etana’s I Rise album which was released last October by VP Records. “The fans were hardly Jamaicans or any other Caribbean. I saw a lot of Jamaicans at the Washington DC, Howard Theatre show.
