DAMIAN MARLEY TO OPEN MARIJUANA DISPENSARY “STONY HILL” IN DENVER, COLORADO, THIS THURSDAY!

 Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley — International reggae artist Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley will be opening Stony Hill, a new weed dispensary, in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday. Done in partnership with dispensary company Tru Cannabis, the new retail store will feature a full line of cannabis-based retail products, including edibles, extracts and a variety of different strains. In a recent interview with Billboard, Marley was upbeat about the new project. “I didn’t know in my lifetime I’d be opening a dispensary. We’ve always been advocates of legalizing marijuana and we always had the hope in our lifetime that we’d be involved in something like this, but I didn’t predict this would happen,” he said.  Marley, 38, is the youngest son of late reggae artist Bob Marley. DAMIAN “JR. GONG” MARLEY IS UNDER FIRE FOR “SACRILEGIOUS IMAGE!”

 Son of iconic reggae artist Bob Marley, Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley has come under fire from the social media community for what they call a sacrilegious image. The Welcome to Jamrock singer posted a picture on his Facebook page, seemingly promoting one of his songs but it did not seem to sit well with some followers. The picture shows him on a cross with his hands and feet bound looking like a picture of the crucifixion. “This picture is horrible and sacrilegious.. I love Marley music but this is making me rethink about listening to you. Mr Bob Marley would not be proud of this,” wrote social media user, Patsy Fodrie. “This picture not my favorite..not settling well I must admit,” another wrote.    Third World— DECADES after recording a much-loved cover of the iconic Sattamassagana, reggae band Third World have added another track by reggae aggregation The Abbysinians to their repertoire. The Reggae Ambassadors have covered YimMesGam (Let Him Be Praised) and on Thursday, family, friends and well-wishers came out to support the premiere of the track accompanying video at the Triple Century Sports Bar in New Kingston.
