Dennis Lloyd (right) shares lens time with Errol ‘Tama’ Melbourne (left) and dancehall deejay Capleton.— A RECENT trip to The Gambia revived a cultural awareness in British singer Dennis Lloyd. It inspired him to write the song Africa on which he teams with Capleton. Produced by Errol Melbourne of Tama Music Productions, Africa was recently released. It is the lead track from My Journey, Lloyd’s third album which is scheduled for release this year. Lloyd, born in the British Midlands town of West Bromwich to Jamaican parents, saidAfrica sums up his sense of roots. “Where my bloodline runs from is more important than where I was actually born.
