VETERAN SINGJAY EEK-A-MOUSE, IN MAKE-OVER MODE FOR GT TAYLOR’S “CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA” DECEMBER 25!

REGGAE MUSIC “TUN UP” FOR PAUL ELLIOTT AT ALBUM LAUNCH!

PAUL Elliott launched his album, Reggae Music TUN Up, recently at Reggae City Bar, Camp Road, in Kingston. The event, a joint production of the singer, Stronger Productions, and Big Stone Records, also saw Lifetime Achievements Awards being presented to four cultural stalwarts — 92-year-old Garveyite, Queen Mother Mariam Samad, singers Bunny Wailer and Fred Locks, and percussionist Bongo Herman. “When I decided to do this launch, I said to myself, ‘I couldn’t do it without honouring the people who set the trend before me,” Elliott told the large gathering. EEK-A-MOUSE USES SOCIAL MEDIA TO BLAST THE MARLEYS!

However the singer, who is known for singles like Wa Do Dem and Police in Helicopter, has finally decided to take his ranting to social media to express his grouse. In a three-minute video posted by Lyric DVD, the artist says Bob Marley would have preferred if more support was given to Trench Town. “This is not reggae music, it’s Marley music controlled by a family, Bob sey Trench Town Rock I will never turn my back on you. But Rita Marley run to Ghana and left us a suffa on ya,” he said among other things.
