J Gunn, who is featured on the remix of Beenie Man’s recent chart-topper We Run Road, met the dancehall star late last year when he performed at DJ Kurt Riley’s party in Christiana, Manchester. He was opening act on Beenie Man’s European tour in late 2015. They are scheduled to embark on a six-country West African tour this spring. Born Joshua Gunn, he has been a fixture on the North Carolina hip hop scene for over 15 years.
