By Cecelia Campbell -Livingston Jermaine Edwards— Gospel artist Jermaine Edwards has already made his mark in the musical arena with gospel anthems such as Power in the Name, I Give Up, Don’t Count Me Out, and Heart Like Yours, among many others. There is, however, one goal he hasn’t yet accomplished, and that’s what’s next on his bucket list. In-between performing locally and internationally, doing live recording, Edwards said he wants to work on transforming the troubled Spanish Town area where he grew up. GOSPEL SINGER JERMAINE EDWARDS RELEASES NEW ALBUM “DON’T COUNT ME OUT!”

 Jermaine Edwards— ON Saturday, gospel singer Jermaine Edwards released his fifth studio album called Don’t Count Me Out. The 15-track album — co-produced by Edwards and Christopher Wright — was launched at New Testament Church of God on Waltham Park Road, in Kingston. Among those in attendance were Nadine Blair, Verlando Small, Rondell Positive and I Worship. “Don’t Count Me Out is really a reminder to us not to count anybody out, because God can turn around anyone’s state. Many times, people tend to judge others when they are in situations that are frowned upon,” he said. The album launch events continue this weekend in Montego Bay and Savanna-la-Mar at the Open Bible Churches today and Sunday, respectively.
