ROCK LEGEND KEITH RICHARDS, PAYS TRIBUTE TO GREGORY ISAACS IN NEW RELEASE!

 Keith Richards— Stylistically, Gregory Isaacs and Keith Richards were worlds apart. Isaacs’ suave vocal delivery earned him the moniker the ‘Cool Ruler. Richards’ eccentric mannerisms inspired Johnny Depps’ Jack Sparrow character in the hit movie franchise Pirates of The Caribbean. Last week, the Rolling Stones guitarist released the video to his cover of Love is Overdue, one of Isaacs’ many hit songs. The song is from Crosseyed Heart, Richards’ first solo album in over 20 years. It will be released next month.”It’s one of the many great songs he wrote that I’ve always wanted to do,” said Richards in an interview with Guitarworld magazine. WHILE growing up at Tewari Crescent off Maxfield Avenue in the early 1960s, Mikey Chung recalls hearing the sounds of ska from a nearby club.
