THE SECOND “SWEATFEST” SLATED FOR MONTEGO BAY, JUNE 3-5, IS CANCELLED!

LAUNCHED with much fanfare last year, the second staging of SweatFest, slated for June 3-5 in Montego Bay, St James, has been cancelled. The announcement came via the website of American rhythm and blues singer Keith Sweat, founder of the festival. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, SweatFest 2016 will be postponed and moved to a later date and destination. Keith Sweat prides himself on bringing the best entertaining experience to his fans and wants to ensure each and every one of you has a time you will never forget,” the post read. R&B SINGER KEITH SWEAT BRINGS “SWEAT FEST” TO JAMAICA JUNE 26-28!

Ginuwine— AMERICAN R&B singer Keith Sweat is bringing the celebrations for his 25 years in the music industry to Jamaica. Sweat Fest is scheduled for June 26 to 28 in the tourist captial of Montego Bay, St James. According to the singer’s website, the three-day festival is set to have its official launch in Jamaica on May 4. “Sweat Fest has been a dream of mine for some time and I’m excited to share this incredible celebration of music, love and laughter with R&B fans in a beautiful location like Jamaica. “SOUL IN THE SUN” COMES TO MONTEGO BAY OCTOBER 10-12!

The quintessential tourist destination in the Caribbean is now home to another huge music festival.
