SOCIAL MEDIA ABUZZ WITH A “LIGHTER SKIN” DANCEHALL ARTIST KHAGO!

 A picture posted by Dancehall artist, Khago left  social  media buzzing with speculations about the seemingly lightened skin of the singer. Khago, who  burst  onto the dancehall scene with  his breakout hit, “Nah sell out” with long dreads has been recently sporting much shorter hair but his hair was not the reason his pictures garnered a lot of attention. “But wait, how the man get so brown, everybody  a get brown inna Dancehall,” one Twitter user said. SINGER SAINE RAPLEY TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM “NAKED” NOVEMBER 20!

 Saine Rapley—- SAINE Rapley will release her debut album, 13-song Naked, on November 20. The songs are produced by Cellblock Music, Black Sheep Records, The Koncept, and Jazzy Neil. “This is all me, every track is real and inspired by an experience in my life. This album signals a new me in that persons were always telling me to do or sing about a particular topic because that is what people want to hear, but this project is just about my life,” she said. JAMAICA’S SUPREME COURT RULES AGAINST DOWNSOUND RECORDING STUDIO’S LOCATION IN RESIDENTIAL AREA!

   Joe Bagdanovich— KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Supreme Court has handed down a judgement giving the owners of the popular Downsound recording studio at 43 St Andrew Park, a property zoned for residential use, to return the premises to its original use by September 16. The decision ends a long battle between the music producers and residents of the east central St Andrew community, over whether the premises should continue as a music studio. The studio was originally owned by the very successful dancehall producing brothers, Dave and Tony Kelly (Mad House Records), before it was sold in 2002 to current owner, Josef Bogdanovich, an American dancehall music producer and entrepreneur.
